Private, One-on-one Consulting with Michele — Application Boot Camp™ Packages and Workshops

Private, One-on-One Consulting with Dr. Michele Hernandez (Grade 8 to 12)

All packages include unlimited time for parents and students from start (collecting materials and writing an in-depth evaluative report) to finish, culminating with completion of college applications and acceptance letters.

Dr. Hernandez oversees everything from a customized reading list, help with all writing assignments in high school to course selection, testing schedule, summer activities, etc., all designed towards giving students that critical edge in the competitive admissions process.

Packages are priced by the year the student begins: 8th grade, 9th grade, 10th grade, and 11th grade. Students and parents will work directly with Dr. Hernandez; space is limited and tends to get full well before senior year. Price Range: $34,000 - $40,000.

Application Boot Camp™ (Rising Seniors)

Application Boot Camp™ Workshop is an intensive summer program for rising seniors now in its fifth year. Enrollment is available now for August, 2009. These intensive four-day events focus on completing all the components of college applications. Workshops are held in Cambridge, MA in August. Services include an in-depth evaluative report and the four day workshop (10am-4pm each day). The goals of Application Boot Camp™ are to help students finish all their college application materials, optimize their odds of admission and pick target schools that are within range. Students will work directly with Dr. Michele Hernandez and Mimi Doe.

Junior/Senior Package

For those unable to attend the four-day live Application Boot Camp™ program or who want more ongoing, personalized consulting, we offer the Junior/Senior Package. We work one-on-one via telephone and internet with juniors and seniors. Students work directly with both Dr. Michele Hernandez and Mimi Doe and this package includes an initial report and ongoing application support. Mimi & Michele’s success working with students is unparalleled.

Deferral or Wait List Analysis (Seniors)

We will review an early application that resulted in a deferral decision or a regular application that landed you on the wait list and give our analysis of what happened and strategies for moving forward. We will outline supplemental materials that should be submitted to the school, etc. This package includes the DEFERRAL OR WAITLIST ANALYSIS REPORT and one hour of follow up via phone and or email.

Transfer Package (College Students)

This package includes a comprehensive report to analyze student’s high school GPA, freshman year college stats if appropriate, scores, and extras and hooks with an eye towards recommendations of colleges, application strategies, and maximizing the student’s talents and academic strengths with a top first choice college. The Transfer Package includes open ended consulting between signing on and sending out transfer applications.
